On my way to a good start for 2015. I had a problem finding fabric for the last border on Celtic Solstice, but finally found some and it was on sale. There was just enough left on the bolt for both the border and the binding. So I get to report some fabric in and out in the same week. Course, 3/4 of a yard added was just a good rust color that was on special and is used to enhance the stash! LOL

Your Celtic Solstice is gorgeous! One of these days, I may have to pull mine out. I don't even think I got all the way through step one.
ReplyDeleteCS was a little slower getting done than the other mystery quilts. I usually have them completed before I start the next mystery quilt of Bonnie's.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.

Well done on the Celtic Solstice top, Beth! It is beautiful! And congratulations on the positive flow of fabrics, too. Are you sending this one out to be quilted or do you have a plan to do it yourself?
ReplyDeleteHey Vic, I am so glad to have CS done. I will quilt it myself, but since I am rather backed up with machine quilting, it will probably be a while. It is easier to store the top than the finished quilt. Thanks for the Kuddos!

Your CS turned out beautifully! Congrats on getting such a good start on the stash busting.
ReplyDeleteHey Kate, Thanks for the kuddos on the CS. Sure hope I can keep busting some stash.

Love your CS, mine still waiting to be quilted. Taking a class, hopefully, with Bonnie this summer so will get it done before then!
ReplyDeleteOh, you lucky thing if you get to take a class with Bonnie. I think she will be a hoot.
